Dear RLS Families & Community Members,
At the Ruggles Lane School, we believe academic and behavioral student success can be achieved by using a proactive systems approach for creating and maintaining a safe and effective learning environment, where all students can learn and engage in productive work.
I have had the privilege of serving students in the Quabbin Regional School District for over 20 years. My time as a classroom teacher began at the Hubbardston Center School in 2001, then shifted to Hardwick Elementary in 2009. I served as Intervention Specialist for two years, splitting time between Hubbardston Center, Oakham Center and New Braintree Grade School, before landing at Ruggles Lane School as an Administrator in 2018.
Be Respectful, Be a Responsible Learner and Be Safe. These core values guide our actions and influence the decisions we make for our learning community. These values connect with expectations we have for students across all environments and include: using kind words and actions, being prepared and trying your best, and keeping hands feet and objects to self. We are committed to continuous education of these expectations as students navigate their elementary years.
